Biscuits & Gravy


Biscuits Ingredients:

6 Tbs. Butter

2 cups Flour

1 Tbs. Sugar

¼ tsp. Baking Soda

1 tsp. Salt

1 cup Buttermilk


Biscuit Directions:

Preheat oven to 450ᵒF.

In a large mixing bowl stir together all the dry ingredients. Gradually mix in butter to the flour mixture and mix until through.

Spray the baking sheets with baking or cooking spray. Drop spoonsful on a baking sheet about an inch apart. Bake 12 – 15 minutes or until golden brown.


Gravy Ingredients:

1lb Mild Italian Sausage

1/3 cup Flour

3 - 4 cups Whole Milk

½ tsp. Salt

¼ tsp. Thyme

¾ - 1 tsp. Black Pepper


Gravy Directions:

In a large frying pan on medium high heat, cook through Italian sausage, drain pan if necessary. Add flour into the cooked Italian sausage until it is evenly coated. In the same pan stir in the salt, thyme, and black pepper. Then gradually stir in the milk and stir until the gravy thickens.
